A pretty, old tea/chocolate cup made a beautiful planter for one of my favourite plants, Hyacinths! I found this cup and saucer a good while back, but enjoyed planning ahead and I got it planted up ahead of time and gave this to mum on mothers day. She loved it 🙂

It seems an absolute age since I held my sisters vintage inspired hen party. But as promised here are some of the photos of some of the little details of the special day. I made each hen a heart shaped blackboard necklace, of which they could decorate with their own chalk pen. You can buy blank wooden hearts on ebay, and a good quality chalk board paint at good DIY stores if you want to make these yourself!

I also made some drink charms, plenty of bunting, and a notice board (with the help of my best friend!!) for everyone to leave a message on in the form of vintage postcard. We played Mr & Mrs, and pin the kiss on David Beckham, whilst we ate copious amounts of lovely food brought by each of the girls.

It was an amazing afternoon, and the evening was just a lovely as we met up with the Men and went for drinks in a local bar.

Please do excuse some very rushed photography, as i barely had time to take perfect pics as frankly we were having way too much fun to be worrying about photography! Which is how any special day should be 😀

I cant wait to use this vintage 1960's bag this autumn!

My Partner bought me this bag last year for my birthday when we visited Rye, East sussex, England. There are a great many thrift stores there, full of antique and vintage goodies, a great place to visit if you ever head that way! This bag had been put away over summer…but with autumn creeping closer i have got it out and i cant wait to use it again! I dont own many bags, but this one of my best ones.  It dates from the 1960’s and i just adore it!

This weeks Wednesday wish dress is a real fairy tale vintage dream. Think totally girly, indulgent, cute, and pink! Normally I shy away from such girlyness, but this one is cute as a cupcake and too good to not share. The price tag of £350 although totally out of most people budgets ( Hence the Wednesday Wishes part) but for a dress so beautiful £350 could be considered money well spent. If you were so inclined this would make a great wedding dress for a quirky 50’s vintage girl! I just adore it!

Picture is property of rokit.co.uk, well worth a visit!
