'Memories in pattern and colour'

Category Archives: Wednesday Wishes

December is creeping up on us pretty quick, and pretty soon it will be Crimbo, which means one thing. Money is tight!

Sooooo, us ladies always like a hand  bag or two and so this Wednesday I am finding vintage bags for under £15! They could be a sneaky cheap pre Christmas treat for you, or a bargain gift for a loved one.

So here are my top picks, I love them all, but the first and the last are my favourites! I love them!

As the title suggests this weeks Wednesday wishes is centered around some great fabric prints I found this week in the shop named White Stuff. I don’t normally look in this shop and only popped in for a peep whilst waiting to meet a friend for lunch.

To my surprise the shop was a wonderful array of colour, lovely deep colours that really warm the soul. And the window display was a really cute take on a woodland scene with wooden logs, mushrooms and trees made from cardboard. In the trees hung oversized felt biscuits…odd but oh so cute! I wish I had got a picture to show you all!

For a  high street store I rather enjoyed the boutique feel of the shop, Inside there were even pot plants, really quite lovely! The website is just as charming, do take a peep!

This weeks Wednesday is wish is a weird one. I’ve literally only just stumbled across this jewellery designer, as I was researching various materials to make some jewellery with . I’ve been feeling really fidgety recently, and a little lost on the creative front, so I am just pondering on the world of jewellery making (any help and suggestions would be lovely!). And voila, this lady’s work caught my eye.

It’s the imagination of it that I really admire, I think you either love this work or hate it.  It’s slightly creepy, but at the same time playful which is the main appeal for me!  The workman ship is very clearly high on these pieces too, altogether I think they are fascinating and wonderful!

All pictures are from margauxlange on etsy!

Her website is also worth a peep at http://www.margauxlange.com/
