Happy mothers day! this year my presents for mum consisted of local charity shop finds, the first being a beautiful stoneware scottish jug, and the second a 1960’s hand crochet dress. I am so happy as the dress fitted her beautifully! I finnshed the jug off with some carnations and a ribbon, and the present with some pretty parrot wrapping paper, and ribbon and a button. Being slightly green fingered, i also plan to take a few cuttings from the carnations, my how thrifty!
I will also take this as an opportunity to introduce my 5 year old cavalier king charles, Mr Bingley, he showed his own affections for mum in his own little way.
